Carey Chamber Member Honors Presents:
101 E Findlay St
Carey, Ohio 43316
Harry’s Pharmacy is located at 101 E Findlay St but actually takes up two original locations of 101 and 103 E Findlay St. It continues a tradition of having a drug store in those locations since 1866.
The first drug store was owned by David Harpster who was joined by Dr. Asa Brayton who later purchased the business in 1919. Other owners have run the business through the years.
In 1957, Harry Myers, who operated the store from 1936, purchased the building on the corner and expanded the drug store into the 101 building in 1960.
Three generations of the Myers family have been involved with Harry’s Pharmacy. The current owner is Randy Myers who is there today.
The Good Neighbor Pharmacy website states: “CARING FOR YOU AS ONLY A NEIGHBOR CAN You already know Harry’s Pharmacy.
